This is why I don't buy books

I went into the city today to give net1999 his SE-150PCI (we ordered together to save on shipping costs). I had a bit of free time afterwards so I wondered into the 紀伊国屋 near Town Hall. I thought I might buy some books for once, but one look at the price tag purged that idea from my head.

Kinokuniya's price

¥390 + 5% tax is about A$4.75. They're asking almost twice that! Not just manga either - all imported books are double priced. Ordering from Amazon.co.jp is probably cheaper than buying it here...

And I couldn't find the book I wanted. Back to reading on PSP I guess. Speaking of which, can anyone recommend a good Japanese OCR program? Preferably one that can tell between main text and ruby.
